This 10,000 square foot contemporary home at 25 Alderbrook Drive uses wood, aged copper, and limestone to create an organic feel, despite being a palace just off the Bridle Path. Listing agent Elise Kalles has it priced at a whopping $7,560,000 – which isn’t overly expensive for the neighborhood, but definitely prices me out. So what does that get you?
The Details
Like pretty much all homes around the Bridle Path, this place is insane. It features a giant chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry and built in coffee maker, 9 bathrooms (some with questionable design decisions), and 5 bedrooms – including a master suite that has a private office, and a master ensuite with massive stone tub. Oh yeah, the third floor also has a yoga studio, and rooftop deck where you can burn off the stress of the mortgage.
Two fireplaces on the same wall…feels excessive.
But the rest of the house isn’t excessive?
What’s with the blue tiled bathroom that looks like it’s from a boat?
Yoga instructor here, how do I make a bazillion dollars so I can afford this?
