Deigned by architect Gus Ricci, 99 Buckingham Avenue is a contemporary home in the Lawrence Park neighborhood. The 5,069 sq. ft. home is currently listed with Carole Hall for $6,795,000 – which is a tough pill to swallow considering it was listed for $2,495,000 in October 2012. It’s a nice house, but $4.3M for three years…we’ll leave that opinion to you.
The Details
The spacious four bedroom, and seven bathroom home is built for the foodie that entertains. The kitchen opens into a multi-room living area, there’s even a small sink and prep area behind the main kitchen wall to conceal the caterers mess. A glass walled wine cellar, and bar are a slick touch too.
Up the floating staircase are four bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a large ensuite, and wood paneled master closet with dressing area. The only one drawback we can see (other than the massive price), is street visibility – two thirds of the windows have a view of a quiet street, but a street nonetheless.
Nice house, but you can see the street from a lot of those photos. They really should have built a smaller house on that little land.
Beautiful home !!
Architect is Gren Weiss NOT Gus Ricci
Price escalation reflects new home
Constuction .
2.5 Million was cost of land only!
This house is absolutely stunning. Street views are the reality of living in downtown Toronto. Price is realistic for the privileged few who can afford beautiful Lawrence Park- Rosedale too.
